How many styles of jeans do you think there are? I’ve owned many varieties over the years, usually sticking with the tried and tested “straight leg” fit. I’ve also worn flare, bootcut and skinny. Never too much a fan of the cropped styles though.
Some of you may like to stick to one particular style because it fits your body type well. Which is fine, but with the immense variety of denim companies out there each one has a different take on their type of “Flare”, or a different pattern for a “Wide-Leg”.
So go ahead, experiment a bit, and try out different brands till you find one that has the right pattern for your body type.
Here’s a list of the styles of jeans you can expect to find in today’s premium denim selection.
If you are looking for destroyed jeans you have come to the right page. Below you will find some of the most heavily destroyed denim found anywhere. Some of these look so roughed up I have no idea how anyone can put their legs through with getting tangled up!

Levi Strauss & Co. is celebrating the 75th anniversary of women’s jeans and they have launched a special website to mark it, Womens Jeans 75.
The company that invented blue jeans for working men created the world’s first women’s jeans in 1934 for bold women of the American West. Since then jeans have spread across the entire world and can be found virtually everywhere.
Jeans were originally created by Levi Strauss & Co. for working men in 1873, but the category has since seen a dramatic shift with the advent of the first jeans for women. Today, new fits, fabrics and finish innovations are typically first developed to meet women’s needs and tastes and are driven by the demands of the women’s market. In fact, sales of women’s jeans surpassed men’s in 2000, making women the leading consumers of denim in the United States.
Gap officially launched its all-new 1969 Premium Jeans starting at $59.50. With 40 years of denim experience under its belt, Gap is confident its fresh, new collection with reinvented fits and styles can stand up to more expensive premium brands, but at a price point consumers can afford.
Bottom line – Gap’s new denim was born to fit. In the same thread, Gap is encouraging fans to reach back to their roots and declare what they were born to do.
